Description

The creation of the "Stamatella" villa was the result of a woman's vision and aspirations originating from the rural areas of Corfu. Stamatella, a young girl who grew up in a small village of Corfu just before the onset of World War II, faced a challenging childhood marked by poverty, hunger, and the hardships of war. Unlike children in present times, she did not have the opportunity to pursue an education, as her family's economic struggles necessitated her involvement in work from an early age to support their survival. Despite her lack of formal schooling, Stamatella possessed intelligence, innate entrepreneurial spirit, and foresight, which led her to envision a country house that would provide respectful and professional accommodations for visitors to the island.

Today, her son Giorgos has transformed her ideas into reality. By extensively renovating the family farmhouse, he has converted it into a modern villa with three bedrooms, two bathrooms, a kitchen, a spacious living room with dining areas, and a large terrace. The villa now boasts various amenities and services, such as high-speed satellite internet through Starlink, a projector and projector screen with Bluetooth speakers for enjoyable cinema nights.
